Project sustainability:
Dorcas children´s home has several plans to sustain the project once donors provide the project with capital. The project will be sustained by involving the community in the project by employing the locals in the running of the project. Dorcas children´s home will be also involved in income generating activities as stated below.

1. Growing and selling of farm products, hence provide food for the children. This will reduce the dependency on donors.

2. The project will buy a plough and bulls for hire.

3. The orphans shall be trained and involved actively in the project in making art work, ie. bead work for necklaces, table mates, wall hangings and tie and dye clothes.

4. In the future the home shall build a guest house which will consist of a hotel and a conference hall. This will increase funds to the projectand reduce depending from the donors.

5. Already the project has been involved actively in growing maize, beans and vegetables in small scale farming which has been providing food for the eleven orphans.

It is our humble request to any one in a position to help in attaining this goal in any way to do so that we can support the orphans. Well wishers may fund the project by:-

1. Funds for the home.
2. Providing school fees.
3. Providing money to buy food and clothes.
4. Provide medicine and any other item which is needfull to the children.
5. Funds for the home´s income generating projects.
6. Part time volunteers are welcome to work with us in the following areas:- Matron, councellor, cooks, and tuition teachers, please contact the co-ordinator.
